Life Jacket Drive
Georgia River Network will be collecting new and lightly-used life jackets at this event. In partnership with Georgia DNR, Georgia River Network will be collecting new & used life jackets to supply the 250+ Life Jacket Loaner Boards at various water access locations across the state. These life jackets will help save lives!
How to donate a life jacket:
- The life jackets, or Personal Floatation Devices (PFD), can be new or used, as long as they are in good, serviceable condition.
- They must be U.S. Coast Guard Approved, as noted by a label in the jacket and we need all sizes.
- If your life jacket(s) meet these requirements, bring them with you to the event!
Each PFD that is donated will be inspected by a Game Warden prior to being put into service. Click here for more information about Georgia DNR’s SPLASH program.
COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
Georgia River Network encourages all attendees to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, please stay home.
