When you love something, there’s no better way to show that love than giving a present. This is your chance to give a present to Georgia’s rivers. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by June 19 to protect and connect people with Georgia’s rivers.

Solicit donations from friends, family, business associates. Let them live vicariously through your adventures! Ask for $1, $10, $100 for every mile you paddle between now and June 19!

The top 10 fundraisers will receive great prizes from Georgia Rivers and our sponsors (think new boats and great outdoor gear!) Check out the prizes on the column to the far right!

Paddle-A-Thon Rules & Regulations

Paddle-A-Thon fundraising runs from Jan. 1, 2026 to June 19, 2026. Fundraising totals must be submitted to Georgia Rivers by Noon, June 19 (the next to last day of Paddle Georgia 2026). Winners will be announced on the evening of June 19 at Paddle Georgia!

Participants may use the online fundraising page that you’ll create when you join Paddle-A-Thon OR you can use other fundraising methods like “Facebook fundraiser” or old-fashioned, analog fundraising collecting cash and checks. All funds raised outside of your Paddle-A-Thon fundraising page must be reported to Georgia Rivers by Noon, June 19, to be eligible for Paddle-A-Thon prizes.

OK. OK. We hear you! During the past two Paddle-A-Thons, Darlene Ray and Hunter White have run away with the “most miles paddled” competition. Try as the rest of us might, we can’t keep up with the hundreds, nay, thousands of miles these top paddlers log each year.

So to level the playing field, the 2026 Paddle-A-Thon paddling competition is now a “Paddle Raffle.”

Here’s how it works:

Every time you log a river trip with Georgia Rivers, you get your name in drawing to win our great Paddle-A-Thon prizes (see the prizes in the column to the right!). The more trips you log, the greater your chances of winning.

We’ll use this data you submit to “Protect Your Freedom to Float” and ensure that these paddling destinations remain open and accessible to the public.

Paddle-A-Thon Paddle Raffle Rules & Regulations

The Paddle-A-Thon Paddle Raffle runs from Jan. 1, 2026 to Nov. 23, 2026. You may submit Paddle-A-Thon Raffle Adventure Logs for all trips made between those dates. Each adventure log submitted earns you a single raffle ticket.

TRASHY RAFFLE TICKETS: If you collected trash during your trip and report that on the adventure log form, you earn an additional raffle ticket.

STATE PARK RAFFLE TICKETS: If your trip began, ended or passed through a Georgia state park and you report that on your adventure log form, you earn a raffle ticket for a special drawing for a two-night stay at a Georgia state park cabin or cottage.

The raffle drawing will be conducted electronically and winners will be announced the last week of November.
