Item 1: Vintage Grumman Canoe (In-Person Bids Only!)

(Grumman No. 4267-GP-1-17)
Add this vintage aluminum Grumman canoe to your collection! Though its manufacturing date is uncertain, a representative with the Marathon Boat Group which now manufactures the brand guessed that the boat was built prior to 1952 at Grumman’s original Bethpage, New York facility. New Grumman 17-footers sell for $1700; used Grumman’s can be found for sale ranging from $300 to $1000. The aluminum boats are built to last and this one has many more years ahead of it. It is in good shape with some cosmetic flaws, and one easily repaired pinhole in the hull. What’s it worth to own a little piece of canoe Americana? We’d say priceless, but you can make your bid with all proceeds to benefit Georgia River Network.

Item 2: Guided Fly Fishing Trip

Take your fly fishing game to the next level with this half-day guided fly fishing trip on the Chattahoochee River with fly fishing expert and owner of River Through Atlanta, Chris Scalley (valued at $350). Chris grew up on the Chattahoochee River and brings his passion for the river and the trout to his clients. Spending over 200 days a year on the ‘Hooch, gives Chris an unsurpassed knowledge of the river’s ecosystem and the behavior of the trout that inhabit it. No matter the time of year or your level of experience, Chris is ready to share the most efficient tactics for catching fish with you and will have you casting and presenting flies with proficiency by the day’s end. Click here to learn more about River Through Atlanta.

Item 3: Guided Boat Excursion

Explore the incredible swamp we are fighting to protect with this guided boat excursion package for four with Okefenokee Swamp Park & Adventures. Choose from a 4-hour tour (valued at $540) or a sunset tour (valued at $160) in a motoried vessel. Along with the boat excursion your group will also enjoy a tour aboard the Okefenokee Railroad, tickets to the Eye on Nature Show and a walking tour. Click here to learn more about the park.
