Etowah River with Outdoor Afro

This adventure features a 9-mile paddle on a scenic and historic stretch of the Etowah River with a visit to the historic Euharlee Covered Bridge built in 1886 by Washington King, the son of freed slave and renowned bridge builder, Horace King. The trip explores one of the most popular sections of the Etowah River that features multiple Native American fish weirs, historic Island Ford and playful shoals. It is suitable for novice paddlers.
